OKO was the original effective tyre sealant when launched in the UK in 1978, has always been made in the UK, and thanks to a programme of continuous development and range extension since then, it remains the best. It continues to be manufactured (with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification for OKO’s entire operation) from cutting-edge ingredients sourced from leading innovators in chemical development.

Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, and in the present day, there are many Tyre Sealant competitors to OKO. Some even use the ‘OKO’ name – so do not be fooled – this is the only genuine OKO. Viewing their websites and literature, many of their statistics, facts and statements stem from the original OKO data and web site.

A major competitive difference is that OKO understates, confident that the product will perform as claimed. In performance terms, OKO achieves MORE with less.

The OKO Group has a track record of excellence based upon a catalogue of independent institutional research tests and tough real-world product trials.

Over all our years of operation, no one has suffered any loss, damage or injury through the use of OKO Group products. Without doubt the use of OKO Tyre Sealants has given real benefits to society. OKO creates significant savings in
TIME, TYRES, FUEL & MONEY.

Furthermore, due to its unique On Road technology that copes with punctures at speed, OKO has saved lives and enabled drivers who suffer punctures to overcome the usual dangerous loss of handling..

The OKO Group has been selling tyre sealants Internationally for decades. The original UK founders still control OKO today. OKO was the first effective tyre sealant to be marketed in the UK, and it remains the worldwide technical and market leader. (If you see another company using the ‘OKO’ name, then it is not the original, genuine OKO product).

For the past 20 years, OKO has worked in partnership with scientific research centres such as TARRC‘s consultancy division “Rubber Consultants”, to ensure OKO products are suitable for use with all tyres and will not cause damage to tyre casings, tyre structures and metal bracing cords.

Product development continues to be an area of major investment. OKO Group works closely with scientific consultants to find and use he safest possible compounds. OKO puncture sealants are audited by “Chemtox-Trotters” a leading Scandinavian consultancy owned by Bureau Veritas, a major global organisation dealing with certification and social responsibility.

OKO Group continually evaluates the climate-suitability and safety of its ingredients. Materials are chosen to be compatible with wheels and tyres.

The OKO Research & Development team listen to customers who use their vehicles daily. They then design and engineer an OKO tire sealant that suits each specific vehicle type; weight; speed; size; and terrain. Each OKO is different: in terms of performance, handling, safety, and effectiveness.

OKO puncture sealants have been tried, tested and approved by Governments, Militaries, U.N. organisations, Major Companies, Local Councils and Utilities, and many of the World’s leading bike race teams.

OKO has been approved, used and recommended to other countries worldwide by the British Ministry of Defence. (Some other sealants claim a N.A.T.O. reference BUT the original references of S.E.A.T.O. and N.A.T.O. were achieved after tests with OKO Tyre Sealant ONLY).

The world’s largest nickel and palladium mining group has thoroughly tested and has approved OKO for use in all of its fleets after it retained tyre pressure long-term following puncture tests: and after it performed faultlessly in temperatures down to -52 degrees C.

Britain’s largest housebuilder specifies only OKO for use on all its construction sites, following competitive tests run by the firm. See also our construction video made at the prestigious Poundbury development, where OKO is in use to great effect.

Other worldwide customers include companies constructing the new Panama Canal, Polish truck fleets, U.S. petrochemical trucks, Saudi’s leading off road vehicle operation and the Middle East’s largest waste management group.

In order to control quality of service, OKO does not sell franchises. The OKO Group itself sells via selected worldwide distributors in over 100 countries (with more joining all the time), including OKO Sales Ltd in Great Britain, OKO New Zealand, and OKO Tire Sealants in the USA, who sell to the trade and the public.

OKO Group has indisputable credentials, longevity and decades of trouble-free sales. Due to this, it has gained insurance cover for product liability and public liability which is believed to be the largest in the market.

There is a strong sense of “duty of care” within the OKO Group to ensure that all products are of the highest quality, safe in use and effective.
