OKO Tyre Sealant was first introduced to the markets in 1978 and historically has gained the reputation for being the most effective and advanced puncture preventative produced.

The intellectual know how and industrial property rights, copyrights and trademarks of OKO Puncture Free are owned by The OKO Group, and the OKO products are manufactured solely and exclusively by group companies.

OKO Puncture Free Tyre Sealant is manufactured and produced in accordance with a system written to conform to the European Quality Standard ISO 9002.

The OKO Group manufactures tyre safety products in the UK.  Manufacturing facilities are being established in South Africa. Before the end of 2006 manufacturing will commence in the USA. New manufacturing facilities in the Czech Republic and India are planned projects for 2007.

OKO Group products are distributed on a global basis through a variety of distribution channels according to the individual market characteristics of a country or territory. An important function of the OKO Management team is to assist OKO distributors with the application of the correct marketing mix strategies to ensure that customers receive the correct product for the correct application & appropriate Distribution advice relevant to their specific territories.

Important high volume sales are also made to many militaries, security, procurement and relief agencies around the world, many in current areas of conflict such as Afghanistan and Iraq. See The Military Perspective section.

The second largest market sector is the Agricultural and Horticultural (including the “Motor culture” Ride On market) areas of Europe.

Universal OKO Limited and its associated companies, have invested substantially in product research and development. OKO Puncture Free is designed and engineered to meet the needs and wants of diverse user types. THe OKO Group continually evaluates an extraordinary number of puncture problems experienced by a variety of vehicle users in diverse working environments. OKO Puncture Free has been engineered to PREVENT punctures in severe circumstances. OKO Tyre Sealants have been tried and tested by many end users over a period of almost 30 years and in a variety of situations and circumstances in order to establish that they are suitable for the intended use. The OKO Group have commissioned experts to test the products with regard to their ability to make a "Permanent seal", its durability and use in different vehicles both Off Road and On Road.
