Q9. Within what range of temperatures does OKO Puncture Free Operate?
Answer:
From –45 degrees C. to above + 45 degrees C. OKO Puncture Free has been tested on fast moving truck tyres. Punctures suffered early during this test (within a few thousand kilometres), remained sealed throughout the test. The holes remained blocked with the OKO permanent seal. After 110,000 kilometres, the product remained effective sealing further punctures. At this stage, the OKO Puncture Free remained in position as designed, coating and protecting the inner tread area of the tyres. During this test, it is probable that the Truck tyres exceeded temperatures above 45 Centigrade.

Q10. Does OKO Puncture Free cause wheel imbalance?
Answer:
OKO Puncture Free will not cause wheel imbalance if the product is dosed correctly. ANY temptation to apply more than the recommended dose must be strictly resisted. When applying the On Road OKO product to a Motorcycle or car the instructions must be strictly adhered to and the recommended quantity only must be inserted. Having applied the OKO, these vehicles must be driven carefully and slowly for at least 30 kilometres (approx 20 miles). During this period, the OKO will line the inner tread area of the tyre. Once this inner coat has been formed, there will be no wheel imbalance. Any minor quantity acting as a reservoir is not sufficient to swirl around a tyre, causing a wheel vibration.

Q18. What are un-ballasted pneumatic tyres?
Answer:
Un-ballasted pneumatic tyres are tyres without water. Some rear Tractor tyres are ballasted. On occasions, Farmers put water inside the rear Tractor tyre to weigh down the vehicle. In some countries, farmers weigh down a tyre with weights or sand. Ballasting with OKO would be preferable to water or sand, because at least the puncture problem would be eliminated.

Q20. Does OKO Puncture Free seal static punctures?
Answer:
OKO Puncture Free is designed to PREVENT the deflated tyre because it is applied to the tyre BEFORE a puncture happens. The “ Static puncture” situation is an “After the event” occurrence. OKO Puncture Free could be applied into a deflated tyre at rest. Then the tyre could be inflated, and driven on. The OKO product may seal an existing hole in such circumstances especially if the hole does not exceed 7mm in diameter. There are matters that need to be considered in such circumstances:-  (1).Will the driver have examined the tyre properly? (2) Is the hole near the side-wall? - and - will the driver know? (3) Has secondary damage or structural damage occurred?
BY USING OKO PUNCTURE FREE, THE PUNCTURE / FLAT TYRE WILL BE AVOIDED IN THE FIRST PLACE. THERE WILL BE NO FLAT TYRE AND THEREFORE NO STRUCTURAL DAMAGE.

Q21. Will OKO Puncture Free swill inside the tyre and affect the valve stem causing a misreading of the tyre pressure?
Answer:
When applying the OKO product, some residue may remain inside the valve stem. This should be cleared by using an air-line as per the instructions. OKO Puncture Free Tyre sealant coats the inside of the tyre. It will not travel back up the valve stem; after all there is no air being forced via the valve stem through to the outside environment.

Q22. Why does the OKO product fail to block a valve stem perceiving the valve stem to be a hole when the tyre is deflated?
Answer:
When a tyre is deflated for any reason (by an individual), it is virtually guaranteed that the vehicle is standing still. When the tyre is motionless the OKO remains coating the inside tread area of the tyre. It does not travel towards the valve stem.

Q23.Is there a risk of suffering a puncture without knowing it? Will this mean a lot more tyre inspections?
Answer:
There is a risk in any circumstance.
All DRIVERS need to take a balanced view. They need to consider OKO Puncture Free Tyre Sealant: (1) The security and protection given; (2) stopping a puncture whilst driving perhaps at speed; (3) avoiding run flat damage (that often causes structural damage); (4) minimal puncture risk; Not being stranded alone at the roadside; (5) Probable extended tyre life; (6) These BENEFITS need to be weighed against NORMAL driving risks without the use of OKO Puncture Free.

Q24. Can a number of punctures weaken the Tyre structures?
Answer:
Tyre structures can be weakened by side-wall damage - and - Run flat damage; OKO Puncture Free will not seal side-wall holes.

Q25. What does a driver do if a tyre is inspected and a nail is seen in the tread area of the tyre.

Answer: According to UK Forensic studies, a nail can penetrate a tyre and remain there for between 60 and 180 miles. (96 to 290 kilometres). Furthermore, a nail is likely to eject itself after this period.
If OKO Puncture Free Tyre Sealant is inside the tyre, and a nail is seen in the tread area, the driver can pull out the nail and drive immediately. This will affect an OKO seal.
If the nail ejects itself, the OKO Puncture Free will cause an instant seal as normal.
